I'm surprised at how excited I have become about the Gallagher brothers’ plans to reform next summer.
I bought Oasis’s first two albums in ‘94 and ‘95, when they emerged out of nowhere (Manchester, England) and dominated North American rock radio and music TV. I learned many of their songs on guitar and regularly covered “Wonderwall” and “Talk Tonight” when I was a solo acoustic performer. I’ve watched hundreds of interviews on Youtube — with Liam and Noel in their heyday, and individually after the band broke up in 2009. As cringey as a lot of their past behaviour and opinions are now, they remain the funniest comedians in music history.
